Job description
- Carry out maintenance on the fleet of buses;
- Effectuer les réparations des autobus, lorsque nécessaire;
- Carry out bus repairs, when necessary;
- Carry out mechanical checks and respect the SAAQ’s preventive maintenance program;
- Performs maintenance and repairs on company vehicles when necessary;
- Complete the necessary paperwork for the repair of vehicles;
- Perform road tests to verify the quality of the repairs;
- Carry out bus repairs on the road using the mobile unit;
- Keep the workspace clean and safe;
- Provide assistance and advice to colleagues;
- Make requests to the clerk for parts needed to repair vehicles;
- Diagnose problems on vehicles.
Job Requirements
- Have a DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, automobile or equivalent experience;
- Have a valid class 5 driver’s license;
- Have a recognized certificate of competency or experience as an apprentice mechanic;
- PEP” certification (an asset);
- SAAQ certification (an asset);
- Punctuality and reliability;
- Resourcefulness.
